Miranda Andersen is in her final year at San Diego State University working to get her BA in Applied Design with an emphasis in jewelry. She is from the San Francisco Bay Area. She has had an eclectic education that included studying glass and jewelry at University of the Arts and receiving her AA from Diablo Valley College. Miranda has had the honor of learning from noted enamellist Linda Darty and engraver Pierce Healy. She has exhibited her work in California, Pennsylvania, and Italy. Her current work explores the intersection of line, light, and color by combining engraving and enameling.
